Automatic Renewals On Specific Dates

Now organizations can set up memberships to expire or renew on a specific date in the future, such as Dec 31st.

December 1, 2021

Today, we're excited to launch a new setting on Membership Types with Join It!

Now, you can set up a Membership Type have a 'Fixed Expiration Date' (such as 31 Dec) and automatically rebill (or optionally rebill). So this means, you can have all of your Memberships automatically rebill on a single date for the year.

Previously, the 'Fixed Expiration Date' feature could only be used with Membership Types that were set up for one-time billing, but based on feedback, we heard how important this was to support for Membership Types that wanted to support automatic rebilling.

So we got to work! And today, that work pays off with this launch.

If you'd like to enable this setting on your Membership Types - you can create new Membership Types with this setting or you can update existing Membership Types.
